My First Post :)
Hi people! I’m Sara :) Some people call me Sarabelle or Sarebear but mostly I’m just Sara. So i’ve ALWAYS secretly wanted to have a blog and then i found out about this. You can imagine my excitement! And that’s how I got here :)
My blog is called “Becoming Sara”. I am a HUGE bookworm! I got the name from “Becoming Jane” a movie (and possibly a book ut I’m not sure) about Jane Austen and what made her who she was and what inspired her novels. I thought the title was kind of perfect. This blog is basically about me becoming, well, me. I’ll be 18 soon which is exciting but kind of scary. I’ll be an adult. Legal. And honestly I still don’t really know who I am. I know who I was and who I want to be, but who I am right now is still pretty blurry. So this blog will be a way for me to document my journey into my “becoming sara”. Maybe one day I’ll look back on this and think “Wow! What was I thinking when I did this?!” But maybe I’ll look back and learn something that i never even realized.
ALSO, I plan on blogging about the books I’m reading. This part could get pretty interesting :) You may not always know what exactly I’m talking about. If i get upset with my book I will rant and not even mention what I’m talking about. I’ll talk about it as if it’s real life. Because when I’m reading a book, it is a part of my life. So be warned: you may get confused and have no clue what I’m talking about. But hopefully, once I’m over my rant, I’ll think to backtrack and explain what I was talking about.
Now onto stuff about me. First off you should know, this is really weird for me. I mean seriously, talking about nothing but me and my life and what I’m thinking and doing, it’s just weird. It makes me feel a little conceited. I normally will set myself aside for other people because that’s the kind of person I am. Maybe this will help me be more open and willing to talk about myself. Now don’t get me wrong, I have times where I talk about myself and nothing else, but those don’t happen all the time. So yea. This is gonna be weird. Well to start off, I read. I sing. I act. I’m a thespian. I’ll be a freshman at SEMO (Southeast Missouri State University) this fall and I can not wait! I’m sooooooo excited!

P.S. I WILL be seeing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 at midnight just like i have for several other midnight HP movie and book premiers. I love Harry Potter. I take it very seriously.
